When is the event?

The 2019 Farnham SoapBox Race takes place on Sunday 18th August.
The team runs will start aproxamatly 10:30 am.

Where is the event?

The SoapBox Race takes place on Castle Street in Farnham.

How do I enter a Team?

Team entries have sold out for 2019.

Do I need to book tickets to watch?

No need to book tickets for the 2019 event. Just turn up and enjoy the day. We do suggest a donation of £3 per person all proceeds going to our charity Phyllis Tuckwell.

What time is the event taking place?

Timed runs will begin at approximately 10.30 with the trophy ceremony taking place around 16.00.

Will there be food and drink?

There certainly will. The bottom of Castle Street will be full of local suppliers offering food, drink. Perfect for a walk around when you need lunch or a break from the action on track.

Can I bring my dog?

You can bring your dog, however so can 10,000 other people.
It gets extremely busy and crowded, so if you do wish to bring your dog, please make sure you are confident that they are happy in large crowds.

Is there any parking nearby?

There is FREE parking in the council run carparks on Sunday’s however we expect these to get full quite quickly so advise where possible using public transport or enjoy a walk through the park to our event.
Please do not park on grass verges and where cones have been placed.
You may inadvertently be blocking access for emergency services for routes to and from the event.

Is there accessible parking available?

There will be limited parking available for blue badge holders in the town centre carparks.

Will there be road closures?

Yes. There will be a selection of road closures around the event weekend, mainly covering Castle Street & Castle Hill. Road closure information can be found here.
